The Site also collects information that you provide to us voluntarily. You may be asked to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, email address, physical address and phone number, in connection with activities that require sign-in or subscription. In order to help us and the non-profit entities with whom we do business understand better the demographic makeup of our users, we may also collect certain statistical and analytical information such as your gender and birth year.
Nonprofit organizations that sign up with Donii are asked to provide the organization name, Employer Identification Number (EIN), URL, physical address, and the name and email address of an authorized representative for the organization.
How We Use the Information
We use the information we collect to provide the products and services you request, to inform you of new products and services or changes in products and services, and to administer the Site. You will have the opportunity to opt out of any electronic marketing communications you may receive from us.
With Whom We Share the Information
We will not sell or rent your personal information to any third party without your prior written consent.
You may accordingly receive acknowledgements, tax receipts or other communications from these organizations via our Site and, accordingly, visible to our Site administrators. From time to time we incorporate the contents of these communications in our promotional materials, but we will not incorporate your personal information without seeking your consent first.
For nonprofit organizations, we share the information you provide to us to donors. In the course of using our Site you may send donation acknowledgements, tax receipts, or other communications to donors, which are visible to our Site administrators. We may occasionally incorporate the contents of these communications in our promotional materials, but we will not incorporate your identifying information without seeking your consent first.
We may disclose information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary by law or the legal process, to protect and defend our or others’ interests or property, or to enforce agreements you enter into with us. Your information may be transferred to another company in connection with a merger of sale of substantially all the assets of Donii.
Donii may obtain your written consent from time to time in electronic form by using online agreements or other acknowledgements on the Site. Please read all online agreements carefully before accepting them.
Our Site enables you to maintain a profile (see “account information” on your dashboard) where you may access your personal information. All of the information you provide with the exception of your email address may be changed through your dashboard. If your email address changes, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, as we will need to make that change for you. You may also request that your account be deleted by contacting us at email@example.com.

Some non-marketing communications are not subject to a general opt-out, such as communications about product downloads, sales transactions, donation status messages, disclosures to comply with legal requirements, software updates and other support-related information.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your passwords, the personally identifiable information you provide to us, and communications between us. We implement a combination of hashing algorithms, salted passwords, and SSL encryption. Because no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free, please be careful in deciding what information you send to us via email or over the Internet. We cannot guarantee absolute security and users assume the risk of security breaches and all consequences resulting from them.
